My work at this small urban school focused on providing practical support to individual children and small groups of pupils who were struggling to access English and Maths. I use my creative skills to create props and aids for the children to use whilst learning and also I am well experienced in conducting detailed reports that are useful when tracking a pupil's progress. The role also involved helping a pupil representative on the school Student Council to deliver brief presentations, liaise with local businesses and organisations for fundraising purposes and arrange short educational trips. Role and Responsibilities I was responsible for conducting the Landlord evaluations, this meant that I would assess a client's property and establish if it was suitable for us to market. I created advertisements that successfully enticed landlords to contact us to discuss our services. Although head office was responsible for dealing with the management of the properties, many of the tenants would contact me directly with issues. This allowed me to use my rapport building skills to keep the relationship with the tenants intact. I have successfully resolved possible conflicts that may have resulted in the landlord losing their tenant. It was my responsibility to adhere to various compliance procedures, such as the Data Protection Act. Working with honesty and integrity is key to achieving my goals and establishing trust with clients. I met with prospective tenants and was tasked with finding a property that met their needs. I successfully built new business relationships with tenants and landlords on the back of emails, social media networking and cold calling. Working for myself taught me how to manage my working day so I could be as effective as possible. I used my passion and drive to shape my work ethic and keep myself motivated and I learned how to independantly work towards a common goal. Show less
