I teach core finance courses such as Foundations of Finance and Corporate Finance. I also teach finance elective courses such as Business Valuation, Private Equity and Hedge Funds (elsewhere it is titles as 'Alternative Investments') and co-teach Security Analysis and Portfolio Management.I also offer customized management training sessions (for mid and senior level managers / consultants), focusing on the concepts of Advanced Financial Statement Analysis, Capital Budgeting, Cost of Capital Estimation, Economic Value Added and its applications, Financial Derivatives (including FRA, and swaps), and Bond Mathematics. Thus far I handled the sessions for the managers / senior managers of RBI, Barclays, L&T Construction, Murugappa, TAFE, Gmmco, etc.I conduct my academic research, aiming to publish in the peer reviewed journals by contributing to the literature.I also handle corporate assignments (consulting activities). Recently I have completed estimating cost of capital for a business group companies.

I completed my course work during first two years of my PhD program that is equivalent to PGDM in Finance. In the remaining 3.7 years i completed my research work and submitted my thesis to University of Madras to which IFMR is affiliated. As part of PhD program, apart from my research work, i acted as Teaching Assistant for the courses like Corporate Finance, Equity Investments, Advanced Financial Modeling and International Financial Management. I also provided research assistance to the faculty working in the area of Empirical Corporate Finance.

- I worked as RA for Prof. Shamika Ravi. As a RA: -Worked for a consultancy project, that aimed at designing suitable savings products to rural and semi-urban clients for a Micro Credit Bank (KBS Local Area Bank). - Assisted in dealing with the primary data (STATA programming) for a project 'Ultra poor program' of ISB in collaboration with SKS Microfinance Ltd. - I worked as RA for Prof. Shamika Ravi.
