In my 4 years of career as an Executive I have worked on many themes in Development sector like Institution Building, Gender, Farm based livelihood, Integrated Natural Resource Management, Health and Nutrition and Water and Sanitation. With time I have gained expertise and build my skills specially in Health and Nutrition and have been engaged in many projects related to it. Development Apprentice program of PRADAN gave me opportunity to understand the context of the tribal community of Jharkhand and their cultural and social dynamics. During my village study I worked on understanding the causes of migration and role of generation of local livelihood options to curb migration. Staying with the community and understanding their practices helped in learning from them and understanding their needs, thus helping me work for them more efficiently in a longer run.
