This 2-week internship taught me to interpret data protection laws of various countries and to assess their implications for Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN). I was also asked to analyse contracts between DAN and its stakeholders, and summarise them in layman terms; these documents were then shared with all DAN employees. The internship gave me exposure to the pertinent issue of personal data protection due to the increased access that companies have to data subjects’ cookies.
