I had the privilege of working off and on with Sunita over the past 15 years in numerous roles. She understands data, technology, processes, and governance at an expert level having been a developer, analyst, manager, and COE Leader herself. But she absolutely shines when she works with stakeholders and helps them understand how the solution being implemented will impact them. You can trust Sunita with any projects and she will ensure they are successful while also keeping all stakeholders completely informed throughout the entire journey. Sunita is easy to work and instantly puts people at ease, enabling trust to be built quickly. She is both detail-oriented but also a big picture thinker. She is not a "check the box" project manager. She is a Project/Solution Lead often disguised as a PM. You will be lucky to have the chance to have Sunita on your team.

In my former role as Service Design Architect at Louisville Metro, I worked closely with Sunita and her team to set up an end-to-end vaccine management solution in Salesforce that helped us deliver over 100,000 vacations to Louisville residents. As project manager of this effort, Sunita was instrumental in launching the product and helping us make near-real time updates to the platform as our operation evolved. Her flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to changes allowed us to succeed when failure wasn’t just possible, it was likely.

During my 15 years of working with Sunita on various projects and initiatives, she always found a way to amaze me. Whether it was the data center conversion during her early years, leading up a major health analytics project for a client, or finally working directly with me on setting up a project management Center of Excellence, Sunita would take on the challenge wholeheartedly and deliver over and beyond. As with most projects, there are always competing priorities. Sunita has a way of bringing a calm and focused approach to understanding what is important, marshalling the right resources, and helping the team achieve its goal. While that is the core requirement of every project manager, Sunita can do this across industries and project types, through all kinds of challenges, and in a way that makes it seem almost routine every single time. Over the last few years, as Sunita and I worked together to set up the project management Center of Excellence, we wanted to communicate the intangibles of what makes a great project manager, while also providing the team with access to the right tools and techniques. Sunita did this by harnessing the best learnings from across the organization and often tying it together with her personal narrative and lived experiences. Sunita is an asset to any project team and delivers exceptional results.
