This is a multi center collaborative effort that is helping us discover new genes that regulate anti-viral responses. Am addressing the role of molecules involved in viral recognition in adaptive CD8 T cell immune responses using several in vivo mouse models and in vitro approaches. I use a combination of techniques including but not limited to, qPCR, flow cytometry, ELISA, imaging cytometry, western blotting and mitochondrial metabolic assays to reveal important insights into new roles for innate viral recognition proteins.
