  A few responsibilities are: - Identify clients’ needs and requirements through meetings and consultations. - Work with clients and assist them in determining their priorities and preferences by providing them with sketches of multiple options. - Present plans to clients for their review and approval. - Modify plans based on client’s feedback and needs. - Research and choose sustainable building materials that suits the environment of the project. - Produce innovative and practical solutions for complex design issues. - Resolve any problems that may rise by adjusting plans according to the situation. - Coordinate and collaborate with teams of different areas such as building service engineers and electrical engineers. - Produce detailed drawings, designs, blueprints, specifications and necessary documents for the project. - Produce project designs and plans using computer software. - Ensure the project follows government regulations, building and zoning codes, guidelines and standards. - Supervise projects from start to finish to ensure quality control. - Visit work sites to check on the project’s progress and ensure everything is being done according to the architectural plans. - Ensure the project stays on schedule and budget.
