Built a user interface using VBA to aid non-technical users of the simulation to run various models, analyze results, view 2D and 3D animation, and modify key variables. Simulated and optimized the given system using Rockwell Arena Software package to successfully process a 50% increase of material imports by eliminating bottlenecks and redistributing resources. My teammates and I are proud of our First Place standing in this competition!

Worked alongside the Value Analysis and Procurement teams at United Health Services in upstate New York to design a process to streamline the trialing of new clinical equipment by using Lean-Six Sigma tools, critical to quality (CTQ), and statistical measures. Completed trial process includes guidelines for clinician involvement, communication templates for ease of use, and programmed excel workbook for quantitative analysis of evaluation data. Utilized Performance Improvement, Lean, Project Management, and Design Thinking methodologies to reduce trial turnaround time, improve equipment quality, and lower costs associated with purchasing underutilized equipment.
