We believe that when parents are informed, they are empowered. And when parents are empowered, they can change not only their world but the world. Our mission is to provide a safe, private and fundamentally kind space to connect with and learn from like-minded parents on similar journeys.

Jan 2019 - Present
The Westpac Social Change Fellowship supports innovators with a passion to create positive social change in Australia. 10 Fellowships of up to $50,000 are awarded in 2019 to individuals who have the vision and commitment to deliver an initiative that will improve the wellbeing of Australians. The fellows also become life-long members of the W100 network. The Fellowship is designed to give recipients time and space to develop the skills, knowledge and networks needed to accelerate their growth as a social innovator. This may involve travel study tours, work experience, research or building stronger connections that will directly enhance their ability to lead positive social change. http://bicentennial.westpacgroup.com.au/Scholars/Profile?Id=3326

Jan 2015 - Jan 2017
Established in 1995 by a handful of founding families, Giant Steps Sydney operates as a Special Needs School for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Giant Steps offers its students a tailored educational approach that suits their learning and long-term lifestyle needs, as well as intensive access to a team of transdisciplinary Allied Health Professionals, including Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Music Therapists. I very grateful to have been a part of this wonderful organisation that works so diligently to ensure the best possible outcomes for its students.

Attendant Care Worker
-
Jan 2011 - Jan 2014
Whilst completing my Bachelor of Speech Pathology with The University Of Newcastle, I worked privately with local families in the capacity of an Attendant Care Worker. In addition to establishing a companionable and meaningful relationship with my clients and their families, I also assisted with 'in-house' home care and a variety of respite, communication and community support services.
