Jan 2022 - Present
I am educated and trained to be a caseworker and do supervised visitations between parents and children that are involved with open DCS cases. I have experience in behavioral modification. I have experience helping clients attain resources from the state, applying for jobs, finding housing, finding food near them, finding items they need for the children, and much more. I have experience with transportation of children to and from the facility in a safe manner. I am car seat trained through the training that I have received. Each situation and client is different from the next, so I always have to be on my toes at all times. Show less

Direct Support Professional
-
Feb 2020 - Jun 2020
Working in the homes of people who are disabled and aiding them in their everyday life was the most rewarding part of my job. Cleaning and cooking food for the residents was one of my roles as a Direct Support Professional. Many individuals in a group setting or apartment setting do not get along with , so being able to problem solve was a key part of my job. Medications were given to the people supported during multiple parts of the day. This part of my job was critical to the health of the residents and required training. Show less

Waitress / Event Organizer
-
Mar 2019 - Aug 2019
I organized banquets, coordinated weddings, hosted funeral lunches, and other events. I was a server for banquets and for the restaurant portion of the business. I did a lot of decorating and organizing for both. When I was a waitress I needed to use memorization skills and organization skills to keep track of tables and customers. The banquets were a lot of moving things around and directing staff and customers to their designated areas. I handled cash as well as orders for alcoholic beverages. Show less

I had a lot of customer service experience working with food and beverages. I learned how to memorize the customization to drinks and food orders. I handled a large amount of cash flow during shifts. I learned how to properly clean to be up to state standard for inspections. One thing I also learned was how to prep food properly.
