• Development of the project Flotilla, which is about delivering, containerized network functions to the branch offices on demand. Developed on Horizon and Murano front-end of OpenStack. Developed software for vpn connecting the cloud side and branch office on demand using strongswan based IPSec connectivity and implemented MongoDB based database for storing information of the cloud and the branch sides such as different vpn connections, gateway router information, network services information, etc. • Worked with UC Berkeley’s Swarm Lab on their IoT Platform called ‘Global Data Plane’ (GDP) and integrated it with our prototype - "Flotilla", which can deploy the containerized IoT Platform onto Kubernetes Container Management System remotely to any residential/enterprise/factory setup and manage and control the different IoT devices regardless of their proprietary nature, making use of Berkeley’s GDP Platform. • Technological evaluation of startups, which led to the commercial purchase of products from such startups. • Leading Industry4.0 effort, which is the Internet of Things (IoT) from the industry perspective in Europe. • Spoke, presented and demoed at various conferences. 1. Developed prototype and innovative ideas for apps on top of SDN Controller. Received second place for our app - "Big Top" in the Codeathon. The app was about prioritizing distributed process queues during map-reduce using SDN principles. 2. Led the Product Threat Analysis review of the SDN Controller for replacement of Zookeeper with Hazelcast as the in-memory data grid for High Availability functionality. 3. Conducted Hazelcast Performance measurement. 4. Participated in Persistence investigation with team members and focused on investigating persistence from Open Day Light(ODL) perspective and how Akka and LevelDB are being utilized in ODL. 5. Implemented callback for Backup & Restore component of the controller such that the apps get notified when backup/restore is about to start or finish. 6. Defect solving & 7. Writing Robot test scripts for automation and JUnit Test cases for testing Hazelcast as the High Availability provider and Cassandra as the persistent database for the controller. Show less

Developed and maintained the following components in the project Home Location Register(HLR), the central network entity of a telecommunication network: 1. HLR Bearer Capability Checks(HBC) which maps and performs integrity checks when a call is to be established between two different networks like PSTN and GSM. Also, reduced the time required for its maintenance. 2. Other Data Integrity Components which checks for the integrity of subscriber information on any administrative operation over a subscriber or during call flow. 3. Triggering Components which triggers the HLR on any transaction on the subscriber through the Provisioning Gateway(administration interface through which subscribers are created), so that HLR can trigger other network elements like the Visiting Location Register(VLR). In the Agile methodology of working, experimented with various roles as a Developer, Tester and in the Maintenance Team giving support to critical customer issues. Was awarded for my initiative in resolving Critical Customer Migration Issues for Vodafone Germany. Show less
