Jul 2015 - Dec 2015
As a research assistant in the Biogenmoics laboratory, I helped search for diagnostic biomarkers for Parkinson's Disease using Big Data and clinical visits. My day to day tasks included processing blood samples into plasma, buffy coat, and pellet, extracting RNA from the blood samples, attending patient visits, prepping supplies for lumbar puncture, ensuring patient comfort, and entering patient data into the Pharmaengine database.
