As a content specialist, my task involves strategizing, structuring, designing frameworks and rubrics for curating and designing academic (For Science) and non-academic online training programs and bite-sized resources for teachers on the ChalkLit platform (mobile application), which are executable, mapped to NCERT (National Council for Educational Research and Training) curriculum, till K-10 level (in case of academic content) and contextualized to the average government school and affordable private school scenario. My role requires me to be constantly updated with educational policy changes, new educational trends/ best practices while having a deeper understanding of the classroom needs in a typical government/ affordable private school in India. In this regard, I have been able to work with external stakeholders, including mentor teachers from SCERT Delhi, members of the DIET, DoE in Delhi and Haryana (different state education authorities in India).

I taught a bunch of 40-odd kids (Grade 6) in a low income, teacher/ administration deprived school, engaged in their overall skill development process; using technology, art & craft, culture, literature etc as an integrated tool , engaged with parents , community and school as a whole to take a step forward towards our vision of educational equity. During my fellowship, I have had the opportunity of working closely with all the stakeholders of education in schools like parents, teachers, principal,co-fellows,alumni of Teach for India,external resources(theatre artist, dancers, photographers etc.), representatives of different publications etc. which had helped me shape up my skill of relationship building, collaboration and team work in educational space.
