Bio
Cathrine Bore
I worked with Sue throughout most of her sales career and assisted her with the legal aspects of contract negotiations. Sue landed a good number of significant deals for the company, many of which involved complex terms & conditions negotiations. She did a great job negotiating the business aspects and facilitating the legal discussions between us and the other side. Sue also participated in discussions and provided feedback concerning our own software licensing. She is a very friendly person with a lot of energy, and she is fun to work with. I warmly recommend her.
Ric Mommer
Sue is a self-driven, efficient and very effective team player. She has repeatedly risen to any challenge that she has faced. When Trolltech decided to launch the Greenphone, the company had no previous experience with production and distribution of mobile devices. The sales and distribution processes were chaotic when Sue came into the picture. She took charge and ran with it. Due to her ability to communicate and work effectively across departments in the organization, she was able to create much needed processes and an efficient system for the sales and distribution of the Greenphone. She made a huge difference and took a lot of weight off of my shoulders. Given the chance, I would work with Sue again in a heartbeat.

Short summary of my experience
-
Jun 1998 - May 2001
Joined Trolltech as the first female employee and first non-techy. My taskes involved sales, marketing and office management. At hat point the company had no devoted sales or marketing people. Trolltech had 100 customers. A year later it had 300. Within a couple of years we changed the company identity completely, moved into new offices and got our marekting going, attending trade shows all over the globe. We employed new people and within 5 years had offices in there continents. June 1998 - July 2010: The Trolltech Journey I worked with a group of extremely talented people and saw a small start-up grow from a handful of employees to a few hundred. We went through an IPO and an acquisition by Nokia. While a sales person, I nurtured strategic accounts and closed our biggest desktop deals. I also transformed many small accounts into key ones. During my many years in the company, I contributed to and followed closely on many of the decisions made and had the opportunity to learn from our many successes and mistakes. I was also exposed to a variety of management personalities and styles as well as very successful and failed strategies. I have had the pleasure to see my high energy transformed into great work and I have learned that improvisation combined with good reasoning is one of the keys to success. The international experience has taught me to be observant, tolerant and accepting. And, most important, I have learned to never say no to a challenge. Show less
