I was first a contact worker until I was promoted to part time in October 2018. Then I was promoted again in August 2019 to full time. My focus is in the field with parents, children, and the community-at-large to raise awareness of Night Light Pediatric Urgent Care. I build strategic relationships, conducts a variety of outreach activities, and maintain relationship with local businesses. Most of my work focuses in Greater Houston. • Maintain documentation of outreach activities and assist in tracking data related to attendance and inventory of materials. • Attends and participates in all meetings and training to build and maintain knowledge of Nightlight Pediatric Urgent Care. • Assist Chief of Staff with interviewing, onboarding, and training new Community Outreach Members and teambuilding for current Community Outreach Members. • Input and maintain data such as event leads, booth numbers, inventory, and strategic partnership leads in appropriate systems. • Assist with the creation, design and implementation of new tools and processes to increase engagement of team and event attendees. • Work with marketing team to implement an outreach plan that targets parents, daycares, schools and other organizations. • Schedules outreach presentations in the community and communicate with staff regarding coverage and responsibilities. • Assist in the coordination of special events and fundraising (example in clinic events lead by Community Liaisons, Benefits Fair, March of Dimes, etc). • Work collaboratively with outreach members to set up, execute, and breakdown community events such as health fairs, teddy bear clinics, festivals, and expos.
