The PMI South Florida Chapter is one of over 270 Chapters serving Project Management Institute (PMI) members and communities in more than 70 countries around the world. These local communities help spread awareness of the profession and PMI by reaching out to local governments and organizations, hosting events or seminars for local practitioners and providing opportunities to learn, network and earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) toward maintaining credentials. The South Florida Chapter serves Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties and has over 2,000 members. As the Vice President of Programs, I have been responsible for driving member engagement via leadership in the ideation, development, and project management of the programs strategy. In addition, I collaborate on chapter strategy as a member of the executive team. Key achievements: ►Reinvigorating our membership via a 360º programs redesign. Under my guidance and leadership, we executed the well-received International Women’s Day career-focused agendas, online training webinars, and vocational workshops. ►Increasing member engagement during the COVID-19 crisis via innovation in and the migration to digital meetings, mixers, networking events, and educational workshops. Bluegreen Vacations is a publicly traded vacation ownership firm. In this consulting role, I provided the full scope of project and program leadership on a portfolio of strategic enterprise information technology initiatives. This entailed leading matrixed teams of business stakeholders, technologists, and vendors driving alignment and collaboration across the project lifecycle from initial business analysis and planning through final signoff and change management. Key achievements: ►Orchestrating the full spectrum of strategic roadmapping for the planned implementation of a LSAMS 1098 enterprise mortgage platform. I managed the program planning, vendor relations, and due diligence. ►Reducing financial risk by strengthening Bluegreen’s core mortgage platform compliance framework.
