    • Leadership Recruiter
      • May 2008 - May 2008

I work with a team to find, develop, and present candidates for health care jobs throughout the United States. I continue to do follow-up with my candidates after they've been presented for a job, and then stay in contact while the candidate is on site for the interim or permanent position. The scope of my responsibilities includes contacting, vetting (degrees, certification/licensing, OIG status), obtaining references, and Skyping with candidates, and requires a high degree of communication to make sure the process moves forward smoothly.

    • Manager, Home Health and RN
      • Aug 1979 - May 1999

As a Manager of Home Health I worked with a team of nurses to provide excellent care to children from birth to 18 years of age. Many of these patients required frequent monitoring for on-going disease processes, others needed only one or two visits for a short term health issue. I did this job for 2 years, from 1997 - 1999. As an RN on the Hematology/Oncology, Renal/Dialysis, Bone Marrow Transplant, and Kidney and Liver Transplant unit I took direct care of children with serious disease processes. I mentored new nurses, did interim management when my unit manager was on a 3 month leave, was involved in Nurses Week programs, and worked on research and educational projects. I also assisted with the Central Line conference held at St. Louis Children's Hospital, and was a presenter at this conference.
