As the Interim CEO I provide executive leadership and management to the Charity and I am responsible for continuing to develop and deliver a comprehensive and engaging strategy for the future. In a year of extraordinary events which have challenged the Charity, but have also enabled the Festival to become ever more inclusive and accessible by going online, I am not only responsible for stewarding the Charity and its associated projects, but I will also be at the forefront of delivering the first ever virtual edition of the Wildscreen Festival. Working closely with the Chair, Board and Festival Advisory Board I will deliver stable leadership and excellence to the stakeholders, attendees, sponsors and the Wildscreen Brand.About Wildscreen Wildscreen is an award-winning international wildlife conservation charity. Our goal is to convene the World’s best filmmakers and photographers with the most committed conservationists to create compelling stories about the natural world; that inspire the wider public to experience it, feel part of it and protect it. We are powered by an ecosystem of projects: Wildscreen Festival - is the biggest global gathering of natural world storytellers. Every other year, over 1,000 industry delegates from over 40 countries convene in Bristol, for a week of business, content and networking. Our delegates represent the entire global industry from the most exciting emerging talent to world-leading broadcasters and platforms. The Festival is also home to the Wildscreen Panda Awards, aka the “Green Oscars”, the most respected and coveted awards in wildlife and environmental storytelling genre.Wildscreen Exchange - a unique global hub that empowers conservation organisations by connecting them with world-leading filmmakers and photographers to create ground-breaking communications about our natural world. I received a mandate to establish this charitable organisation in collaboration with England Hockey and the Board of Trustees with responsibility for all aspects of the operation including strategic planning, policy development, communications management, relationship building, volunteer coordination, fundraising, and corporate governance. In my capacity as a Charity Consultant, I collaborated with a variety of not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises to provide extensive advice and guidance using strong sector expertise, technical knowledge, and critical thinking skills. I have outlined some of my key projects below: ¬ Give Time (2016 – 2017): Advised this startup Social Enterprise on a variety of core areas including strategy development, operational frameworks, partnership building, fundraising, and volunteer management. Developed content for a web-based platform designed to connect volunteers to charities and not-for-profit institutions.¬ My Life Films (2014 – 2016): Delivered support for fundraising activities while helping to create a vibrant network of corporate contacts and suppliers to facilitate a large-scale event portfolio. Advised the charity founders on corporate governance requirements and legal responsibilities. Researched and applied for relevant grants. Introduced a CRM systems to increase accountability and improve compliance. ¬ Cruse Bereavement Care (2016): Collaborated directly with the CEO to establish and grow corporate partnerships while actively diversifying revenue streams to ensure long term viability. Designed a creative Christmas themed social media campaign to raise awareness and drive brand recognition in local communities.¬ The Choral Foundation (2013 – 2015): Developed and implemented a comprehensive marketing and event strategy to support charity growth.
