I have served as Director of International Programs, History Department Chair, Asian Studies Chair and Vice-Chair, co-founder of Preserve Nevada, NTHP Advisor and then Advisor Emerita, Harvard Club of Nevada Vice-President, and member or officer of numerous other community organizations. I have curated or assisted in curating several museum exhibits. I also spent 21 years in the movie industry, working in films like "Around the World in 80 Days," "Left-hand of God," and "Sayonara," as well as television shows like "Gidget Goes to New York," and "The Johnny Carson Christmas Special," as well as educational programs like "No Passport Required with Marcus Samuelson" and "The Transcontinental Railroad." I was the executive producer of "Island Mountain Days," a Vegas PBS documentary.
