Former Program Coordinator for RCYF Wired and Inspired (WIN) from 2009-2012, Dell Powering the Possible; Technology and Mentoring Coordinator. We are starting another program through a grant received by Dell Powering the Possible - it is River City Youth Foundation's Wired and Inspired Neighborhood project, designed to enhance skills of youth, ages 5-17 years of age, residing in Dove Springs, 78744, Austin, Texas. Youth will work with Dell Employee volunteers, RCYF staff, tutors and mentors to make a positive impact on community by increasing professional development skills, collaboration and creativity, innovation, problem-solving, critical thinking and communication. Youth will conduct a community awareness campaign about building a college in the neighborhood, creating a national model for a Bilingual Kids' Neighborhood Watch, increasing skills in WIFI and connectivity in the 2-acre parkland of Dylan Park, where the RCYF Success Center and Computer Learning Lab is located, reaching 2000 students through August, 2012.
