While I was the VP of Creative Services at Revman International I had many opportunities to work with Sue as we did all of our photography with Mayo Studios. She is incredibly organized and adept at juggling many details over a sizable workload and keeping it all running smoothly and on deadline. She is excellent at problem solving and I was always confident that she could help me find a resolution to any issue, whether technical or logistical. She is also very talented at digital retouching, knowledgeable about photography, and has an excellent eye for design. I had the pleasure of continuing to work with her at Mayo in my role as Design Consultant over the past 4 years and was sorry when she left that company. I am confident she will excel at anything she chooses to do and will be a great asset to any company that hires her.

I worked at Mayo Studios for 40 plus years, as a photographer and studio manager, right up until my retirement in the Spring of 2017. For the last decade, I had the great pleasure of working with and alongside Sue Cox. This is a remarkable person that any company would be fortunate to have as an employee. I found her to be consistently honest, ethical and extremely hard working. The company was a high profile, usually very intense workplace, where the small staff was called upon to do big things daily. The team had to work well together and solid leadership was the key. Sue exemplified this foundation on many levels and she quietly rose to the management echelon. I first encountered Sue when she was hired as an administrative assistant to the then studio manager. She quickly mastered her responsibilities and it became apparent that she was an important cog in the production wheel. As our digital involvement increased, Sue continued to showcase her skill set. This was an era when I spent much time out in the field and I would return to the studio and realize who the important person was in this area of the company. Others soon saw this and eventually there was a change in leadership. I became the new studio manager and now would work in closer coordination with Sue. Trust and honesty would be paramount. I never was given cause to worry about either. If I had to assign a few words to describe Sue Cox they would be intelligent, cooperative and capable. She had the difficult job of speaking directly to the clients about all matters relating to their jobs. She also had to assign personnel to each project and schedule the shoots. She was a master juggler at these tasks with great attention to detail and a strong memory. I cannot think of any client that didn’t get along well with Sue. It did not matter who they were, and we worked with many well-known and high profile individuals. I can probably say the same about her relationships with the staff. We worked very closely for years and I always had great respect for Sue’s abilities and her ethical grounding. She helped make sure that everyone received a quality job with a positive experience. This is often not easy, but she showed me time and again that she realized the importance of the big picture. Lastly, Sue is a terrific person. We laughed often and it was not uncommon for me to seek her out to lighten my mood and alleviate some of the pressures we all felt just doing the best job we could do for the company. I counted on her a lot to help me achieve the goals I felt had to be attained for Mayo Studios. She was a great collaborator and co-worker and never let me, or the company, down. Sue Cox would be a valuable asset to any company. Without hesitation, I am happy to give her my highest recommendation and to answer any questions that you might have. Sincerely, Mark Polott mark@markpolott.com
