Divakar R Mysore

Suchitra and I worked together for one of the world’s largest telecommunication companies supporting a business-critical ticketing application. She was helping the team with system administration, development and test environments, build and deployments for the applications. She was also responsible for working with the production support team and releasing the application to production. She was recognized within the IBM and client organization as a strong system admin, with excellent teaming and collaboration skills and with a go-getter attitude. She demonstrated leadership and took complete responsibility to keep the environments up to date, in sync with production, so that developer and tester productivity was excellent. She had an automate-everything attitude which really helped the team. It was a great privilege working with her and learning from her. She will be a great addition as a platform SRE (in today’s terms) to any team operating business-critical applications.

Suchitra was one of the early women technologists that I worked with, in DSQ software. She had a flair for System Administration, networking and General IT management space. Her foundation in Computer Science was evident as she easily adopted to managing multiple IT platforms and teams. She was a great team player and role model for Women in IT - a real asset for any organization in leadership positions.
