Design, develop, test and certify the power plant systems (including APU and Pylon) of the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) aircraft. Review and apply JCAB/FAA/EASA regulations and generate certification documents. Coordinate supplier engineering deliverable. Lead developmental and certification testing of the power plant systems complying the fire safety of flight test aircraft and in laboratory environment. Author and review the test procedures, designed test setups and conduct tests. Support the design of the fire protection system by defining system functional and performance requirements including engine/airframe interface and operating environment. Co-ordinate with component suppliers to ensure MRJ engineering requirements are met for sourced equipment. Author and review compliance reports to ensure compliance with JCAB/FAA/EASA regulations for the power plant systems and achieve Type Certification of the MRJ. Knowledge of RTCA DO 160 (G and F), part 26 and International standards like SAE, MIL, ISO, AC, etc.
