  At ANUBHAV 2018- A National level Science Hands on workshop conducted by Agastya International Foundaiton at Nehru Center, Worli, Mumbai from 11th to 13th Jan 2018; the project titled “Effect of Calcium Carbide” was presented by JUVERIA SYEDA and ADISH SHAH of Grade X; accompanied by Mr. BISWAS. Research Scholar Padma Vibhushan Dr. Anil Kakodkar- Indian Nuclear Scientist and Mechanical Engineer, visited our exhibit and inspired the students by stating “This is not only a model, but a research work”. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial Science Exhibition @ Defence Lab School, RCI. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial Science Exhibition 2017- an Inter school Science Exhibition was conducted by Defence Lab School, RCI, Hyderabad, the following Vikasians have done us proud!! Varun Gupta and Sathvik.K (Grade 10) bagged Ist prize for the project titled “PAPER MAKING FROM WATER HYACINTH” Aashna Singhvi(Grade 9) bagged Ist prize in Extempore Shreeya Singh(Grade10) bagged IInd prize in Debate Saptarshi Dutta (Grade 10) bagged IInd prize in Essay Writing Ten schools from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh participated and VIKAS THE CONCEPT SCHOOL bagged the Rolling Shield. Krishna ( HOD—Biology Department) Ms.Pallavi Exploring Science@LEAD 2017 At LEAD 2017- An Inter School Science Exhibition conducted by EURO SCHOOL, Hyderabad, the project titled PAPER MAKING FROM WATER HYACINTH” presented by Yaman Oza, Pranav Sanand. P, Samyak Panda of Grade IX with the guidance of Science teachers Dr. Nimisha Sharma and Mr. Biswas was awarded the first prize – cash award of Rs. 5000/- This project stood first out of 86 project entries across twin cities. National Science Day @ MLR Institute of Technology South India Science Fair was conducted at St. Joseph's Indian High School, Bengaluru from 7th to 11th January 2019. Show less
