  What is POLIS? POLIS is the study association for and by students Organization Studies (OS) and Global Management of Social Issues (GMSI) at Tilburg University. POLIS was founded at the 3rd of May 1991 and has grown over 30 years to an organization with over 600 members. In the previous years, POLIS served as a platform where students and business can meet each other. Because of these meetings, students have the opportunity to build on intensive relationships with organizations which can lead to collaborations in the future. What does POLIS do? By organizing both relaxing and study related activities, POLIS tries to involve their members with the association and the studies. Examples of study related activities are: - Business Dinner The Business Dinner is an intensive recruitment activity that Study Association POLIS organizes. During this activity, there is an opportunity for companies to get to know master students Organization Studies while enjoying several courses of the Business Dinner. - Social Sciences Career Event The Social Sciences Career Event (SCT) is a career event that is being organized by the SCT in collaboration with the four study associations of the social faculty (Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, TSB) of Tilburg University. The Social Sciences Career Event aims to bring the 2.500 students of the faculty closer to the labor market and to bring them in contact with potential future employers. Cooperation opportunities POLIS is always open for new organizations to collaborate with or organize activities with. POLIS offers different opportunities to spread vacancies among our members.
