Bio
Daniel Overbey, AIA, NCARB, LEED Fellow, WELL AP
I have worked with Stuart in a variety of service-related initiatives over the years. Among several things I appreciate about Stuart during our time together, what I have come to appreciate most deeply is his unwavering commitment to mentoring emerging professionals. I am the architecture internship coordinator at Ball State University and as such I have directly engaged with interns who worked under Stuart's supervision and mentorship. Every single time, I can count on the students experiencing considerable professional growth. In addition, I have invited Stuart into my classroom on several occasions in order to address emerging considerations and priorities in professional practice. Stuart delivers the content very well; but I also recognize the commitment this requires - just another example of his commitment to mentorship and emerging professionals. The architectural profession needs more leaders like Stuart.
