My primary job was Jr. High then Middle School band director, with being an assistant at the HS. USD #475 is a 6A school district...largest classification in Kanas. We would normally start about 100 new students per year at JCMS...which was a very successful MS. This was one of two feeder programs for JCHS...which had a very successful marching band. We had an extensive library at JCMS...and had students involved with music competitions yearly. Many of these students I accompanied. Towards the end of my tenure...we used Smart Music Studio in our grading system... I sue Finale music software...and school wide we used Power School to post grades. Show less
