Responsible for overseeing all print jobs and supervising the day-to-day operations of the in house print team. Organising and delegating workloads efficiently to ensure the team is working as effectively as possible. Our projects range from and are not exclusive to, 15 different magazine advertisements; some weekly some monthly. I am also responsible for the 20 catalogues that go out through out the year, those responsibilities include ensuring they go out on time but are up to the Pro:Direct high standard. Key to my role is the ability to communicate with clear, concise instructions. Yet field any questions my team may have on a technical or a design based issue. Managing the flow of day-to-day operations is also an important part of my day, offering support to team members when ever it is required whether it is a work based or personal issue. My duties don't end there as I am still very much a hands on Graphic Designer, working on a range of the adverts that Pro:Direct send out along with many of the catalogues. Personally I am always trying to push how the company looks in print to the next level, having recently undergone a successful re-launch of our catalogues, I am now looking at the next way that Pro:Direct's print collateral can evolve. • Jul 2012 - Feb 2014

In my current role I am responsible for leading the creative team on client briefs. These can be anything ranging from an in-house marketing idea to a new logo and branding concept or even a simple artwork/artwork re-fit. Usually the briefs are a customers requirement for a creative and innovative artwork and structure for a Point of Sale unit-with the intention of this being implemented in a retail environment. A main role of mine is to create visuals of Point of Sale units in Cinema 4D so a client can envisage there unit as it will look when printed. I also create visuals of a mocked up Supermarket so units can be seen in situ.I have knowledge of Screen and Litho print processes, and when demand requires I perform Reprographic conversions including trapping, of approved artworks and upload them to our printers. • Point of Sale Artworker
      • Sep 2010 - Jul 2012

As Point of Sale Artworker, I was responsible for creating artwork for POS units following pre-set guidelines set by our clients. These were usually for large international supermarket retailers. I was also responsible for creating 3D visuals of the POS units in Cinema 4D for client approval. I was also involved in the Reprographic process, undertaking 'Repro conversions' on approved artworks, setting them up for either Litho or Screen Print-including trapping work

    • Artworker
