  ICA serves as an outsourced Risk Management Department for corporate clients, identifying risk exposures and recommending appropriate insurance and risk control techniques As a risk management consultant, currently managing a corporate client portfolio with premiums in excess of $10 million, I develop and analyze underwriting data for annual renewals; create manuscript policy specifications; evaluate insurance proposals for all lines of coverage and negotiate with brokers to obtain more expansive language and better pricing. As part of our risk management practice, I review leases and vendor contracts to ensure appropriate contractual transfer of risk through coverage, additional insured status, and hold-harmless language. I also perform due diligence on risk management issues arising from mergers and acquisitions, to efficiently and cost-effectively incorporate acquired entities into the master insurance program. We also identify and advise as to emerging risks, such as pollution liability, cyber liability, supply chain interruption.
