The role requires a holistic control over specific tender process' managing the required tender inputs whilst independently working with the relevant parties to source project specific solutions to the tender requirements. A greater emphasis is placed on developing a relationship with the client early in the tender process and identifying each stakeholders drivers within the process. Execution of this was seen in Q1 2015 when DOF Subsea's largest contract of 2015 was tendered, negotiated and secured with a North Sea tier 1 operator. An added emphasis of this role has been placed on diversifying DOF Subsea's offerings with advanced tender negotiations taking place within IMR, Renewables and Decommissioning scopes currently.

Initially on a three week work experience programme a graduate position was subsequently achieved with Thomson Bethune, a PQS firm with offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Responsibilities include: Responsible for procuring services to complete unfinished building project for a prestigious client. Responsible for compiling and tendering a £500,000 luminaries and static inverter package, for a prestigious client. Responsible for dispute resolution; I was tasked to act as adjudicator for a £400,000 claim where I assessed the validity of a contract buy processing a vast array of paperwork and visiting the site to measure works that had been completed and then presenting my findings to the client. Responsible for the procurement of all sub-contractors on several works packages and recommending award to the client. Performing day-to-day cost tracking on specific works packages. Producing monthly cost reports advising on contract expenditure, variations, program and projected cash flow. Certification of monthly valuations. Liaising with the client regarding contractor performance, key cost issues and procurement.

Work involved drilling programs around Turkmenistan, whilst working for prestigious clients such as Petronas. Responsibilities included Running night shift on MWD surveys utilizing Schlumberger's Telescope tool at depths of 10000ft. Conducting surveys every 30ft of borehole drilled.
