Whilst at the Impact Group I was responsible for - the delivery of all key Operational targets and profits whilst remaining within the tight budgetary constraints - ensuring that all Operations meet the current legal requirements with in the strict guidelines produced by the DVSA. - maintaining effective financial control and reporting systems to enable us to meet company accounting and audit requirements. - maintaining a staff resource plan to ensure, always, that the Output is adequately resourced to meet its workload requirements. - developing and carrying out our newly designed Audit program - ensuring, via the Senior Management team, the overall effective leadership and management of the Operations department in the Depot - managing industrial and employee relations in the Depot - introducing a New and Innovative traffic system in the depot. In line with a specifically developed training course, we dramatically reduced accidents/incidents and near misses in the depot. - playing a full role as part of the company’s Senior Management Team- integral in the creation of a new Maintenance system for greater control over compliance - ensuring Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of my management team through training, staff appraisals and attainable targets
