Bio
Freya Swan
Stuart was an extremely organised and supportive Head of Department. He developed excellent practices in the department and motivated and inspired staff and students alike.
Steve Stephens
Stuart came to lecture the NE Patoss group of specialist teachers on research he was doing into "Assessment for Learning". He pitched the training exactly to the right level, and demonstrated the practical relevance to educators of his work. Everyone went away not only with an understanding of the importance of the research but with many ideas and tips to implement in the classroom immediately. His presentation was well received by all and has improved the quality of teaching in the north east!
