The site is primarily aimed at being the definitive directory of Businesses, Organisations, News, Events and other Hyperlocal Information provided to the 27,000 people and 2,500 that live and work in the area, as well as providing high quality information to the millions of tourists that visit the area every year. The site also contains thousands of historical local photographs provided by Saddleworth Museum Content is provided both manually as well as crowdsourced and the site is automated and monetised via image sales, premium listings and events and donates some of the proceeds back to local charities.
