The school provided meals and accommodation. Being a student assistant entailed doing duties at the junior school boarding house once a week, these duties involved helping junior school (grade 4-7) boys do homework, waking the boys up, walking them to and from the school dining hall and supervising the boys at the dining hall. It was also required that student assistants be on duty over a weekend once every three weeks. Weekend duties required student assistants to come up with activities to entertain the boys over the weekend. All student assistants were required to coach sport twice a week and to officiate matches on Saturday's. I coached rugby, cricket and athletics during my time as a student assistant. In 2016 and 2017 I held the position of head student assistant in the junior school. Show less
