During my time at the Dentist’s Studio I have had the privilege to be trained in a wide variety of office duties. As a dental assistant I provided assistance to the doctor during a wide variety of procedure including fillings, crown build-ups and seating. I also became certified in radiology to assist with new patients by taking FMX and panoramic X-rays along with intraoral photos and treatment plans. As a front desk coordinator, I trained for front desk calls through the 5-Star certification system with the Scheduling institute and gained an extreme amount of experience using Eaglesoft. I answer phones, make collections, follow up with patients, schedule new and previous patients and analyze account information. I also verify and complete insurance breakdowns and discuss treatment plans and payments with patients.

I filled prescriptions, organized patient records, and billed insurance companies. My job entailed background knowledge of all medications sold in the pharmacy and training in proper medical care including training in OSHA.
