This research is a direct continuing on the work done in my PhD. and Postdoc projects at the group of Professor Anne Spurkland. The projects aim to explore how T cell signaling molecules cross-talk upon T cell activation. The main focus has been to characterize the structure, function and regulation of the adapter protein TSAd, and to analyze how TSAd modulates kinases in the T cell. In particular, Lck, a kinase essential for efficient T cell effector functions. During this period I have been fascinated by the complexity in the immune system, and I have got extensive experience in Immunology and T cell signaling research. Show less
