Stine Borges has a master degree in Audiologopædi from the Copenhagen University. She was a student of mine in the course Technical Audiology, in the fall 2006. In her master project she focused on the topic Auditory Processing Disorders (APD) in children. As part of this thesis, she worked in corporation with the Technical Audiological Laboratories (TAL), creating a psychoacoustic test battery for the screening of APD. In addition she created a set of questionnaires for screening of APD in kinder gardens, as part of a field study in Holstebro. The field of APD has received growing attention in Denmark during the resent years, and Stine has worked very dedicated to contribute to new knowledge in this area, both during her master project, and later in her job at the pedagogical/psychological advisory office (PPR) in Esbjerg. I give Stine my full recommendation and wish her all the best for her future work and career.
