Since september 2021 I am employed at Renewable Sweden in Falkenberg. Now as a senior project manager in offshore wind. An area I always wanted to work in. At RS I work with permit cases for offshore wind power and I prepare consultation documents, carry out consultations and compile documents for environmental impact assessments. My main focus is on projects in offshore wind power, which is very close to my heart, as I believe it is one of the most important energy sources we need to develop to achieve a better climate for future generations. Energimyndigheten har beslutat om ett nytt forskningsprogram inom marin energiomvandling. Programmet förväntas bidra till Energimyndighetens vision för 2020. Den säger att svensk havsenergiforskning ska bidra till utvecklingen av den inhemska industrin. Vidare ska svenska exportprodukter resultera i ekonomisk tillväxt i Sverige samt bidra till energiomställningen även i andra länder genom ekologiskt, ekonomiskt och socialt hållbara lösningar som behövs för detta. Kopplat till forskningsprogrammet ska finnas ett programråd vars huvuduppgift är att bedöma inkomna ansökningar och ge Energimyndigheten rekommendation om beviljande eller avslag, samt hjälpa till att planera utlysningar, program-konferenser och utvärdering av programmet. På så vis får programrådets medlemmar en värdefull insyn i forskningsfronten på marin energiomvandling, samtidigt som man påverkar och bidrar till utvecklingen av ett hållbart energisystem. During my 5 years at MMAB I worked closely with the other divisions, marine geology and marine ocean survey and I was involved in the planning of a wind power farm in the Baltic sea, by WPD Scandinavia. I performed sampling and evaluation of marine sediments, surveying the ocean bottom and I was the marine biology specialist in the development of the EIA. I was the project leader for the EIA of establishing fiberoptic cables from SWE to DK, Åland and FI, for IP-Only Telecommunication AB. It included the developement of applications in other countries accordning to their legislation systems. Show less
