As Project Manager for Unisorb, my responsibilities were three-fold. Initially I would qualify prospective clients, domestic and international, from the generation of leads that were interested in the purchase of Unisorb products for the engineered or non-engineered installation solution for their machines in varying industries, from the manufacturing technology to the power generation industry. Secondly, I would use project management methodologies to establish the scope of work, approve the plan for accomplishing the project and inform the customer of the costs involved with their specific application. Ensure the completion of project objectives by establishing attainable goals for the term of the project. Provide project reports to the required standard and deadlines. Plan and co-ordinate resources and technical support. Assist with contractual correspondence. Establish, track, and maintain project schedules. Monitor new project information as it emerges. Track project deliverables using appropriate tools. Assess project issues and then developing solutions. Make sure that projects do not go over budget. The third aspect of my role as a project manager was to provide on-site support, on a national and international basis, to clients in need of an impartial, supervisory element in the matters of training, technical and engineering advice and, subject matter expertise.
