Founder Stacy Holland launched Exceptional People International in 1994, following a decade of senior sales and marketing leadership at Bristol-Myers, Squibb, & Burlington Industries. Holland was a Vice President at General Mills, Inc., managing a NY-based sales organization. Holland has received numerous entrepreneur and leading businesswoman awards on both coasts, including Exceptional People,Inc.'s "Top 25" Business Award by the San Francisco Business TIMES. IRC & global technology practice award. She is active in mentoring programs for all ages including veterans. She provides "How to Land the Right Job" clinics to graduating undergraduate students, and MBA students at Haas School of Business, Univ Of California. Holland earned a secondary teaching credential within a MA, Education Program. Her avocation: Active in ARCS "Expanding Science in America" supporting academically outstanding talent in STEM, and an active member of drivers supporting URI, Uniting, Responding, Inspiring interfaith action in Global Peacebuilding. Ms. Holland’s 25 year executive search career has leveraged earlier years of strong sales and management experience. Prior to search, Stacy Holland enjoyed a career in consumer goods and distribution in management positions including Vice President, General Mills, Inc., where she built and directed a New York-based sales organization. Earlier, Ms. Holland held management positions at Bristol-Myers, Squibb, New York, and was Director, Institutional Sales for the Raeford Division of Burlington Industries, New York. She was formerly with Foote, Cone and Belding in New York and London. Prior to entering search, Ms. Holland was recruited to United Services Automobile Association for over 3 years to help that insurance leader expand it's San Antonio Headquarters.
