  The Rehabilitation of 47km of P235/1 from Mtubatuba to Hlabisa. Budget of R276 888 000. Project entails deep recycling of current in-situ base with 100mm G4 top up to form 300mm subbase and introduce 80mm BTB then finish with 40mm A-E1 wearing coarse on first18,5km to improve the structural bearing of the current pavement to accommodate the heavy vehicles coming from Tendele mine in Mtubatuba, and 40mm of 50/70 medium A-E1 Asphalt overlay on the next 32km up to Hlabisa area.

Project involving widening of both lanes of the traveled way to include 1,5m shoulders on both lanes and Deep recycling to form fresh BSM1 base with double seal surface blacktop

  The upgrading of D130 from P393 Luwamba junction to P700 Buckanana location. This R30million rands project was an essential link from Luwamba clinic and Buckanana village. The horizontal re-alignment of this road to smoothen the very sharp curves was the major highlight of the project as there were many previous fatalities reported due to the road in the dangerous condition.
