Responsibilities include: Building, developing and continued update of the contract programmes for submissions. Managing the planning staff on the project to produce the plans and programmes for submission, and the associated reporting. Produce Time Location Plans to graphically communicate the project to the wider team and client. Ensure the plan and programme incorporate allowance for safe working methods and timely construction, and the production of safety related documentation. Identify risk to the programme, make time risk allowance in the programme and contribute to the project risk and opportunity log. Coach / train graduate and junior planning team members in the use of planning methods & techniques and programme software. Communicate and gain approval from the project team for the methods proposed and the sequence of the plan utilising visual aids (e.g. stage diagrams; sequence diagrams etc.). Lead major structures planner on the £848m upgrade of the M4 J3-12 All Lane Running Smart Motorway. The 13no major structures are a mix of online, offline and bridge widening schemes. Drawing on a number of years from an operational background in structures, I produced the contract programmes in P6 and MS Project, design methodology and worked with the site teams to deliver on site works and produced monthly updates with applied mitigation where required to maintain the programme, also utilised chainlink software to display graphical representations of the Smart motorway scheme.

Working in the project planning, programming & controls team delivering the Crossrail West Stations project worth approx £150m. A design & build contract for 13no different sites along the MLN1 line between Acton Main Line > Maidenhead stations. The scope includes: platform extensions, demolition & construction of new concourse/ticket halls, construction & modification of station canopies, demolition & construction of footbridges, upgrading power supplies & M&E systems/equipment, installation of the Crossrail DOO & station information and surveillance systems.Responsibilities Include: Lead the development and production of the plan and Project Construction Programme and Contract Programme. Co-ordinate and implement the progress update and monitoring productivity process. Responsible for the review of programmes submitted by supply chain and providing feedback of acceptance/non-acceptance supplier programmes. Integrate the above programmes within the main contract programme. Maintain a change register for the Contract Programme and Construction Programme. Maintain an as-built Construction Programme as works progress. Provide the project team with the planned productivity required for key activities to achieve the Construction Programme. Report progress against the Construction Programme on a weekly basis using the short-term programmes supported by narrative text document. Take an active role within the project delivery using personal experience in methods of construction to develop the onsite activity methodology to achieve key outputs and KPI’s to meet/exceed the contract programme. Identify current and/or unforeseen delays with possible mitigation measures considered. Prepare a progress report in an agreed format monthly based on as-built information received from the project delivery teams and site visits.

Promote cohesion between the site delivery team and the design manager, health & safety/QA/Environmental advisers to ensure team is pulling in the right direction.
