As an Administrative Assistant for a small Association of REALTOR® working directly under the Executive Officer I am afforded the opportunity to, quite literally, do it all. On a daily basis, I am charged with assisting members with general questions and third-party product support. I manage accounts payable and receivable for the quarterly billing of our MLS services and annual billing for the National, State, and Local Association of REALTORS® for our membership. I assist in planning education events and general membership meetings. I prepare newsletters detailing product updates, policy changes, communications from National and State Associations, and general news to distribute to the membership. I am in charge of preparing the agenda and meeting packets for the UPR Regional MLS Committee, and carrying out the decisions made by said committee. I assist in the annual NAR Core Standards requirement by assembling the Association's activities throughout the year to establish compliance. I also edit and update the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations for Upper Peninsula REALTORS® and each of our five local MLSs. Upper Peninsula REALTORS® provides SentriLock lockboxes to our membership. I track new member equipment orders, defective equipment pickup and replacement, and dropped member equipment return. I work with our Customer Relationship Manager to resolve member complaints, execute system upgrades, and ensure that the system is working as efficiently as possible for the Association and our membership. The Multiple Listing Service provider for UPR is Black Knight MLS Solutions. We work directly with Black Knight to constantly update and perfect our MLS system through Paragon. I am a Certified Trainer for the Paragon system and I am intimately familiar with the entire program from listing maintenance and reports to administrative functions and system changes.

As an apparel sales associate, I consistently achieved and surpassed assigned sales goals. I was able to development long-lasting relationships with customers that benefited me during my employment with Vanity and in other future ventures. I was employed by Vanity from February 2006 to May 2008, December 2010 to March 2011, and December 2012 to May 2014. During my employment, four different store managers valued my talents on a sometimes seasonal and temporary basis (depending on the schedule of my primary employment). At Vanity, I got several years of manager-on-duty experience that have contributed to my team leadership and organizational skills.

Legal Assistant to three attorneys. Hyde & Swajanen, P.C. had a focus on Criminal and Family law, but I was exposed to Probate and Bankruptcy cases as well. As an assistant to three very busy lawyers, I was charged with scheduling consultations with potential clients, appointments with existing clients, hearings and trials on the District, Circuit, and Federal levels, and personal commitments. In addition to scheduling, my duties included preparing legal documents, constructing exhibits and packets for trial, assisting clients, accounts payable and receivable, and realizing that if I ever made a mistake it could potentially cause great damage to an important case. My time with Hyde & Swajanen was an incredible education that has really served me well in other positions.

GREAT first job. I was employed as a cashier, apparel sales floor salesperson, and gas station attendant. I consider my people and customer-service skills to be a couple of my biggest strengths, and my employment at Shopko really supported the development of these skills. GREAT first job.
