Steve has been a strong advocate in making sure the product addresses the user's needs in the most intuitive and efficient way possible. It is his instinctive nature of understanding the fundamentals of User Experience (UX) principals that makes him a powerful ally to the UX community. He constantly checks to make sure the user's experience is the best as it can be by finding, documenting, and managing issues. He is always looking at the product in a very holistic way that is greatly lagging in the way development is done today. He has the ability to learn the product, architecture, and ask the right questions in a very short amount of time.

Steve and I worked together, periodically, in qa roles for years @ EMC (now Dell-EMC) helping to ensure the company's mid-range storage products ship with high quality. Through the years, I've often relied on Steve's expertise in storage arrays, network connectivity and, in general, Steve's dogged determination to problem solve. For roughly a three month period, near end of 2015, I was recruited to perform some ad-hoc testing for Steve, reporting to him on a weekly basis my progress in testing NAS file access. Steve was very helpful, his record keeping is nothing short of meticulous, carefully documenting my progress as well as that of other staff members. Bottom line is I'd be thrilled to work with Steve again on tech related projects in future.
