Bio
Cynthia (Cindy) Jacobs, Esq., JD/MBA
For over 6 years, I worked with Steve and supported him with his corporate legal needs. Steve is one of a few executives who is extremely involved with his business relationships, completely learns the business inside and out, and able to negotiate and draft all pertinent business terms for complex agreements with third parties. At one point, Steve and I simultaneously worked on five (5) new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreements in order for TracFone Wireless to purchase wireless handsets for its prepaid wireless business. With Steve I had it easy as a corporate in house attorney. Steve is completely organized, reads each of the agreements, negotiates the pertinent terms with each OEM, and is able to communicate to management the material terms which could impact the business. Specifically when dealing with OEMs in Asia, Steve fully understands and is able to document and negotiate the applicable language to minimize the intellectual property and indemnification risks involved with OEMs in Asia. Steve is a real driver of the deals and keeps all parties, internal and external ones, focused and moving towards the necessary goals. Most importantly, Steve is very straightforward, honest and transparent. Steve is bright and has a wonderful sense of humor which is needed when working on tight time frames and important corporate matters. Steve is a delight to support.
