I completed work on synthesizing inorganic fluorescent molecules utilizing techniques and reactions (ex: Sonogashira Coupling) . As far as instrumentation goes, I analyzed molecules with GCMS (quadropole, electron impact) and HNMR (Unity, 300 mHz).

I completed mass spectrometry related research at UMSL. My research consisted of analyzing peptides. I worked with computational programs such as Gaussview to determine the most stable conformations of molecules in 3D. I also organized Mass Spectra in Excel. The instrument that I used was a quadropole/ time of flight mass spectrometer with an electrospray ionization source.

I worked on improving the safety of pharmaceuticals in the United States. I did work on their "Rapid Screening Team." The team utilized portable Raman, Infrarad, and Ion mobility instruments to verify the integrity of pharmaceuticals both domestically and abroad. I assisted in building libraries so that more active ingredients could be identified.
