I managed Steven for one year while I was the Director of Media at The Art Institutes. My observations of Steven left me with the impression that he's a very dedicated professional who cares very deeply about his students. In the past five years I have bumped into several of his former students and when they reminisce about their time at AIS they mention how fantastic Steven was as an instructor. This is the true legacy of a teacher: the feelings they leave with their students about what they learned and how they learned it. I'm super proud of my time working with Steven and would recommend his excellence to any project whether it be academic or industry based.

To Whom It May Concern; It is with respect that I write this recommendation on behalf of my professional peer and personal friend, Steven Kramer, who has exhibited leadership qualities beyond the endeavors of most people I have ever met. I have had the privilege of being taught by Steven during my tenure as a student of animation and game design, as well as being mentored by Steven as professional peer in the industry. Throughout my time working with Steve, he has made such a positive impression that it transcends my presumption of what an instructor of higher education should practice. I have been continually impressed with his ability to maintain the quality of a mentor and an instructor that may be applied to several different industries. On many occasions—through my own experience, as well—I witnessed Steven making every effort possible to help out his students, but instructing them in a firm, yet conscientious manner that illustrated the contentious yet rewarding character of the gaming and animation industries. He has never strayed from helping someone to the point of his own personal exhaustion, for it is clear that his highest priority is to endow his knowledge to those fortunate enough to listen. He has always been focused in his instruction, capable of multitasking, all the while maintaining a strong emotional intelligence as both an instructor and a friend. His integrity is something to which few aspire and even fewer achieve. I have no doubt to whatever role Steven is assigned, he will be an asset to the organization. It has always been an honor to work with him, and any who have the privilege to do so will be quick to agree. Sincerely, David Berner Former Enrollment Counselor; Art Institute of Seattle
