Steve had an encyclopedic knowledge of the product, its history, and our customers. His skill in cutting the core of what our customers wanted - and would pay for - led to several innovative products and integrations as well as serving to navigate us through the usual iterative improvements as our company grew from startup to targeting the enterprise. Product Management and technical leadership need to work hand in glove, and Steve's a joy to work with. Affable, thoughtful, and humble while still thoughtful and critical; a stickler for good work who knows when 'good enough' warrants shipping and iterating so customers have value sooner.
