I met Steve after he gave an inspiring presentation about Interface Companies at the 2013 Bioneers gathering in Chicago. As a high school teacher, I wanted my students to learn about Interface's unique Mission Zero and Biomimicry applications in their products. Steve enthusiastically arranged a time for our students to visit the Chicago showroom, and took time from his schedule to meet with us personally, giving us a tour of the space, explaining Interface's products, and answering a plethora of questions from students. I never thought high school students could be so interested in talking about Carpet Tile, but they were truly inspired by Steve's presentation and the interactive tour of the showroom! In all our communications, Steve is quick to reply, generous with his time, and eager to help us broaden our school's network. It is obvious that he is passionate about his work and truly believes in the business model that Interface has developed. My students and I are now Interface Carpet Tile converts, all because of Steve!
