  My duties include the chemical and instrumental analysis of exhibits suspected to contain controlled substances using techniques such as spot testing, macroscopic analysis, microscopic analysis, and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Responsibilities include preparing reports and testifying to those reports in court, completion of annual proficiency tests, administration/technical peer reviewing, following quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) protocols of laboratory, maintaining analytical instruments, receiving and logging in evidence; returning completed evidence, preparing laboratory reagents and solutions, and maintaining quality assurance records and other documentation.
